What Is Thieves?The list of ingredients include therapeutic-grade essential oils which are the highest quality and purity of essential oils (and great for natural cleaning, aromatherapy and topical use):
- Vegetable-based surfactants like alkyl polyglucoside, derived from coconut
- Biodegradable cutting agents like sodium methyl 2-sulfolaurate
- Disodium 2-sulfolaurate from renewable sources (both of these sulfolaurates are rated 0 on a 10 point scale on the Environmental Working Group’s health hazard score – which is the best score possible)
- Therapeutic-grade Clove Essential Oil (Syzygium aromaticum) promotes a healthy immune response, and may support overall wellness. An important ingredient in Young Living's Thieves blend, its principal constituent is eugenol
- Therapeutic-grade Lemon Essential Oil (Citrus limon) Lemon consists of 68 percent d-limonene, a powerful antioxidant; and may be beneficial for the skin. It has cleansing and purifying properties
- Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil (Cinnamomum verum) This essential oil promotes a healthy immune response.
- Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus radiata) is primarily used to support the respiratory system and to soothe muscle discomfort after exercise
- Rosemary Essential Oil (Rosmarinus officinalis CT cineol) is one of the most broadly used plants throughout the ages. Rosemary includes the naturally occurring constituents eucalyptol and alpha-pinene
- Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate, a chelating agent made from plant material, is readily biodegradable without health or environmental concerns.

How do I use it?- General Cleaning: 30:1 (water/solution)
- Heavy Degreasing: 15:1 (water/solution)
- Glass Cleaning: 50-100:1 (water/solution)
- Light Degreasing: 50:1 (water/solution)
- Floors: Add 1 capful to 6 to 6 ½ cups water
- Dishwasher: Add 1 capful to the bottom of the dishwasher.
- Washing Machine/Laundry: Add 1-3 capfuls depending on the size of the load; and what you are washing of course! Or try NEW Thieves Laundry Soap!
- Carpet: Add 1 capful to 6 to 6 ½ cups water
